The Office of Research, Development and Extension (ORDEx), and the College of Engineering (COE) in partnership with the Eastern Visayas Consortium for Industry and Energy Research and Development (EVCIERD), and the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers (PIChE) – Tacloban Chapter organized a one day Science and Engineering Summit held last June 24, 2016 at EB 208. The theme of the said summit is “Molding the Future thru Science and Engineering Innovation”. This significant activity is part of EVSU’s College of Engineering 50 years anniversary celebration which highlighted researches of professionals in the field of science and engineering.
The summit commenced with a message given by the Regional Director of the Commission on Higher Education, Dir. Maura Consolacion D. Cristobal who also served as the guest of honor during the event. This was followed by the formal opening of the poster exhibit through a ribbon cutting. Moreover, plenary sessions also highlighted the activity wherein two illustrious experts in the field of science and engineering served as plenary speakers. They were Dr. Leonila C.
